Wednesday I posted my Sweet 16 scrap top. It will be a two-in-one quilt, with complementary designs on the ‘front’ and ‘back’ of the quilt. I was really excited to finish up the back…then I realized I had sewn the final section on upside down….Ripping and resewing followed, and now I can say it is finished!
It is not the world’s best picture and I have not squared up the edges yet. I was initially short a quilt-holding helper, and my various attempts to tape the quilt to a wall, to catch it in a closet door, and to hold my phone in such a way that I could take a picture in the hall mirror while holding the quilt all failed miserably. I definitely need to come up with a design wall of some sort. Eventually I got a quilt holder to help out, but this is the largest quilt she can hold! A design wall is still a necessity.
I think this is going to be a really fun one to quilt. Fingers crossed that the quilting works Maybe this weekend I can get it sandwiched and start quilting the framework.
Linking up to Link a Finish Friday, Can I get a Whoop Whoop, and WIPs Be Gone. Who knows, maybe something else too!
